Out of all the covid weddings, Ann and Raymond’s wedding was probably the most impacted wedding of all my bride and grooms. They had a more difficult time planning a wedding even before covid because Raymond is from Scotland and Ann is from the states. But when covid hit, things became near impossible from them, because of all the travel bans and everything being shut down. Their wedding was originally planned for spring of 2020, got moved to spring of 2021, and then because they couldn’t fly, it got moved to September of 2021.
In the meantime, to be closer to each other, Ann immigrated to Scotland. So they were planning a wedding from across the world while a pandemic was happening.
But they finally did it!
I am so happy they finally got the day they deserved. After all of the reschedulings, all of the crazy situations, moving across the world, they were able to get married in Kansas at Cardinal Creek Farm. It was a beautiful day, with rain starting in the morning and clearing up for a gorgeous sunset.
Ann loves to keep things simple, so working with her has just been a breeze, despite all of the crazy things they had to endure. She kept calm and was determined to have her day.
I believe Ann and Raymond are back in Scotland, enjoying their honeymoon and living out their happily ever after!
