I never back down from a theme idea for a celebration session and I was so excited to set up this mermaid photo session. I was especially excited because Celeste is just the perfect little model. I am totally convinced that she is a little angel just pretending to be a mermaid.

I always like to use things I already have for session setups, and for this mermaid photo session I was able to use my collection of seashells. Seashells that actually originate from South Africa. They have made a long trek and are now used for any beachy or mermaid sessions I now book.

I added some silver glitter to add a spice of celebration and I just loved how these turned out.

Now that I have this beautiful deep blue seamless paper backdrop, I think I am going to offer blue and silver glitter minis in the new year. I am so excited for this new look!
