This was my first year doing Christmas Tree Farm minis and I know now that it won’t be my last! This adorable Christmas tree farm in Derby was just perfect for my 2021 Christmas Tree Farm Minis. I got to know the sweetest couple that owns the farm and their farm is just so well taken care of, beautiful, and completely surrounded by trees, which means that even on windy days, it was still a great spot for photos. Pine Lake Christmas Tree Farm was the perfect place for these minis and I am already planning times for next year!

The week that I scheduled the minis was probably the warmest November that I can remember. The Monday and Tuesday it was over 70 degrees!! It made me regret wearing my leggings and fuzzy coat and wish I was wearing shorts instead. While it was super warm, it wasn’t completely giving Christmas vibes. But it did make me realize that I could do these Christmas Tree Farm minis even earlier next year because the trees would still look amazing!

I am thinking if we do these again next year, I may do them before Daylight Savings ends because I know it is a struggle for families to make session times before 5 PM.

Everyone that booked a Christmas Tree Farm mini really brought it with their outfits and smiles. Several families brought their pets, which I always love. I can’t get enough of adorable fur-babies.
