One of my favorite parts of Matt and Makenna’s Wichita wedding photography was getting to know not only them, but their adorable son, Lincoln, as well. It’s one of the things I love about the wedding photography experience, is that I get to know couples and the people they love most so well over the course of a few months or a year. I get to know them through meeting in person when they are booking with me, at their engagement session, at a bridal boudoir session and if they book me for any family photos, I see them then too! I just love it, and just love seeing little Lincoln grow.
Makenna and Matt had a beautiful Wichita wedding at Fulton Valley Farms where they had the most perfect spring day. It was so cloudy all week leading up to their day, and then the skies opened up, the sun came out and it was just beautiful. Fulton Valley Farms is a beautiful venue with so much greenery and the best coordinator, Betty. If you book with them, she will make sure you don’t worry about a thing. Loved working with her.
My most favorite part of their wedding day? That gorgeous sunset! Seriously check it out. Such glowy, beautiful light. I could have taken photos all evening, but I had to let Matt go back to get tacos (they were delicious).
