I knew the second I started photographing these two that we were going to have a good time with their engagement session. As soon I got them in their first pose they started giggling and chuckling at each other. It became very clear to me after a location change that I wasn’t going to have to use my normal lame jokes and prompts to get these two to be animated in front of the camera.
We started downtown and avoided some agitated people. You will have to ask them about it, things got a little sketchy in our downtown Wichita. We left there to go to my backyard. I say our backyard, but I tend to take most of the photos in our neighbor’s yard, mostly because ours is a bit muddy from Brent’s dump trucks. I always say, our yards have some trees, a bit of an open field, nothing too fancy. But we get the most gorgeous sunset views from our yard. If you want to do a photo session and want that spectacular Kansas sunset, my yard is a really good option, granted that it is actually sunny that day.
We ended with some cute Chiefs shirts. I guess there’s some big game going tonight?
