There are so many favorites from Marina and Andrew’s wedding. First, I just loved her style and decor she had planned for the wedding. That blush with all the creams and greens, my favorite combo! Second, her dress and veil was just stunning. She added an extra layer to her dress that just made it sparkle. Third, and my most favorite, was her relationship not only with Andrew, but with her step-daughter. She made every effort to make her be part of the wedding as much as they were. She was able to put on her dress and she even had a special moment during the ceremony which ended in happy tears. But just so sweet and thoughtful.
The day actually started very cloudy and foggy, which is enough to make any bride panic about potential rain. But we ended up having a perfect day. Not too hot or cold. Perfect for their intimate outdoor Wichita wedding at Crestview Country Club.
When Marina and I first met, we just kinda clicked! We both have similar styles and taste, which makes working with her so, so easy. I absolutely loved their engagement session. It was the opposite of their wedding day, extremely hot, but posing them back them I knew their wedding was going to be a dream! It is always a bittersweet when a wedding is over for a photographer, because I meet so many of the bride and grooms friends and family. With Marina, I also met one of her besties, and she tagged along to all of her shoots before the wedding and I got to know her as well! But that is part of having an actual relationship with my clients, I get to know them so well that I feel sad when it’s over!
Congratulations Marina and Andrew, it was an honor to be there and photograph your Wichita wedding at Crestview Country Club!
