We scheduled Amelia and Hayden’s engagement session at the end of January. I believe it was the last week of January, and I have been so lucky so far with the weather. The wasn’t terribly cold and we are able to get some sunny looks in their photos.

When Amelia first messaged me she had mentioned that they both loved the outdoors, loved camping and spending time together outside. So I quickly thought that setting up a super cute little campsite would be so cute for their photos. After convincing my husband to gather up a large log, some firewood and putting him on fire duty we were set to go.

We started at Oldtown and took some super classy photos in their more dressy outfits and then dressed down and more casual and ended up in my backyard for the campsite look. I really loved both locations, but I do love the different feel we got at the campsite one. You don’t see many engagement photos like that and I love that they were up for it.
