This intimate Crestview wedding was a bit different than all of my normal weddings that I capture. Christina’s mother was my first and main point of contact because she was planning most of the wedding! Everyone except for Brandon, was from the east coast! Which makes me sad, because I probably won’t ever see them again! Considering that Lupe was planning this wedding from a different state, everything was flawless and smooth. I don’t think I have ever seen a bride so calm and “bored”. Which is exactly what her mom wanted. For her to enjoy her intimate Crestview wedding.
If you scroll down the photos, you will find an adorable portrait of the bride and groom with a little dog. Christina’s dog was a part of the wedding, which only made sense because it’s name is Oliver and Brandon’s last name is also Oliver. This little dog was seriously the most well-behaved little dog I have ever seen in my life. During the entire reception, he just sat on a bench chilling all by himself.
When I met up with Christina and Brandon via zoom to talk about their timeline, they were up in the air about whether or not to have a first look or not. They ended up going with a first look mostly to save so much time on photos after the ceremony. But halfway through their portraits, Christina mentioned to me that she is so glad they did the first look. Because think about it, you get to spend a few more hours with the person you are going to marry on one of the most important days of your life! It also relaxes the nerves a bit you would get before the ceremony and you actually get to have an intimate moment with your fiancé when you first see them, instead of trying to hold it all together in front of a crowd. It’s not for everyone, but man, I love those first look moments.
Crestview Country Club doesn’t ever disappoint. It is a beautiful venue with a gorgeous garden room that is just perfect for small weddings. I love photographing weddings here. Check out the rest of the awesome vendors below!
